Terms of Use

Gospelkeep is a Christian devotional product designed to support a rhythm of reading Scripture, learning through trusted Christian sources, reflection, prayer, and keeping private prayers.

Gospelkeep may provide Catholic and Orthodox reading tracks and other devotional material. Tradition selection helps present the relevant supported content experience; it is not a declaration by Gospelkeep about your identity or church membership.

Gospelkeep is provided for personal devotional, educational, and informational use.

Gospelkeep is not a substitute for pastoral care, sacramental guidance, professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency services. Content presented in Gospelkeep should not be understood as creating a clergy, counseling, medical, legal, or fiduciary relationship with Gospelkeep.

Unless expressly stated, Gospelkeep is not an official app of the Roman Catholic Church, an Orthodox patriarchate, diocese, parish, government body, or other religious institution.

Some Gospelkeep features may be used without an account. Account-dependent features require authentication.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the authentication methods associated with your Gospelkeep account, including access to the email account used to receive a sign-in code, and for using Gospelkeep lawfully.

Gospelkeep may support Sign in with Apple and email sign-in using a six-digit one-time code sent to the email address you provide. You enter that code into the app to authenticate the sign-in attempt. Gospelkeep does not send a confirmation link or require a separate email-address confirmation step before sign-in.

You must not misuse authentication systems, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service security, or use Gospelkeep in a way that violates applicable law.

Your private Keep is designed as local private app data. Gospelkeep's server-side account database does not store your private prayer text under the current V1 design.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate control of your device and Apple account. Local app data may be affected by device loss, deletion, restore, operating-system behavior, Apple backup or device-transfer settings, or other events outside Gospelkeep's control.

Where Gospelkeep provides an export function, you may use it to create your own copy of supported Keep data before deleting your Gospelkeep account or local data.

Gospelkeep provides an in-app account deletion flow for authenticated accounts.

For security, deletion may require you to reauthenticate. A rejected or failed deletion request does not authorize Gospelkeep to erase your local Keep.

When account deletion succeeds under the current app behavior:

• the Gospelkeep server-side account is deleted;
• Gospelkeep attempts to revoke applicable Sign in with Apple authorization associated with that account;
• that account's local Keep on the device, including Recently Removed or Trash, is cleared as part of the completed deletion process.

You should export anything you want to preserve before confirming deletion.

Deleting your Gospelkeep account does not necessarily cancel an active Apple subscription. See the subscription section below.

Gospelkeep may offer Free functionality, included introductory access, Premium functionality, and separately offered purchase options.

The current V1 product design includes an account-based introductory period of full access without requiring a card or App Store purchase. This is separate from an Apple or App Store free trial.

The exact features available to Free or Premium users may change over time, subject to applicable law and any purchase commitments already made.

The live app and App Store purchase screen control the currently offered products and entitlements. Do not rely on old screenshots or marketing copy as a guarantee that a particular product will always be offered.

If you purchase a subscription or other digital product through the Apple App Store:

• Apple processes the payment;
• the price, billing interval, currency, taxes, and purchase terms are shown by Apple at the time of purchase;
• recurring subscriptions renew according to the terms displayed by Apple unless canceled through Apple;
• you can manage or cancel eligible subscriptions using Apple's subscription-management controls;
• refund eligibility and refund processing are generally handled under Apple's applicable policies and law.

Gospelkeep may use RevenueCat to determine the entitlement associated with an App Store purchase.

Deleting the Gospelkeep account does not automatically cancel billing through Apple. If you no longer want a recurring Apple subscription, manage it through Apple even if you also delete the Gospelkeep account.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms, unless a different valid agreement is displayed by Apple for the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot lawfully waive under applicable consumer law.

7.1 Founding Lifetime offer

Founding Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. It is not a subscription.

The offer is listed at USD $99, but the price, currency, and taxes shown by Apple at the time of purchase control the transaction.

The offer is strictly limited to the first 100 successfully completed purchases. There is no waitlist, and no additional slots will be created.

Whether a slot is available is determined by Gospelkeep's server when the purchase is completed and verified, not by the app's display of the offer. No slot is held during checkout. If the purchase does not complete, no slot is claimed.

Once all 100 slots have been claimed, the offer is withdrawn from the app and only the ordinary Monthly and Annual subscriptions are offered. Because supply is capped, you should not rely on the offer still being available at a later date.

Founding Lifetime grants Premium access for as long as Gospelkeep operates the service. "Lifetime" refers to the operating life of the Gospelkeep service, not the purchaser's lifetime. It is not a promise that Gospelkeep will operate forever.

A successfully completed Founding Lifetime purchase may be restored through Gospelkeep's Restore Purchases control, subject to server-side verification of the original App Store purchase.

If Apple refunds or revokes a Founding Lifetime purchase, that purchase remains counted toward the 100-purchase limit. Its allocated slot does not return to the pool and is not offered again.

Refund requests, eligibility, and processing are handled by Apple under Apple's policies and applicable law, as with other App Store purchases. Nothing in this subsection limits non-waivable rights or remedies, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Gospelkeep may update, correct, add, remove, or republish public devotional content and features over time.

Published public content may be versioned. Availability can depend on internet access, published corpus coverage, device compatibility, subscription entitlement, maintenance, or third-party services.

Gospelkeep does not guarantee that every date, tradition, narration asset, archive period, search result, or third-party source will be available forever.

Where Gospelkeep lacks trustworthy source material, it may leave content unavailable rather than inventing theological explanation.

Gospelkeep may provide pre-generated narration for supported Gospel and Fathers content and bundled audio for devotional experiences.

Audio availability may depend on network conditions, cache state, published assets, product entitlement, and third-party infrastructure. Failure of optional narration does not alter access to public reading text where the product provides that text independently.

Gospelkeep and its original app design, branding, software, arrangement, original text, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Scripture, patristic, prayer, and other third-party or source materials may be used under public-domain status, licenses, permissions, or other applicable rights. Rights in those underlying works remain with their respective rights holders where applicable.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Gospelkeep's intellectual property to you.

Gospelkeep does not claim ownership of private prayer text simply because you type it into your local Keep.

If you voluntarily send Gospelkeep feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other non-confidential product feedback through support channels, you permit Gospelkeep to use that feedback to operate and improve Gospelkeep without an obligation to compensate you. Do not send material you are not authorized to share.

You may not:

• interfere with or disrupt Gospelkeep or its infrastructure;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, credentials, or data;
• abuse, probe, or circumvent security, access, entitlement, or rate-limit controls;
• use Gospelkeep to violate law or the rights of others;
• distribute malware or deliberately harmful content through Gospelkeep services;
• falsely represent an affiliation with Gospelkeep;
• commercially exploit Gospelkeep's software or proprietary content except where we expressly permit it.

Nothing here prevents rights you may have under applicable law, including lawful interoperability, security research, or other non-waivable rights.

Gospelkeep relies on third-party platforms and infrastructure that may include Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, hosting providers, and other service providers.

Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Gospelkeep is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions of third-party services outside Gospelkeep's reasonable control, subject to rights you have under applicable law.

If you choose to receive Gospelkeep promotional emails, Gospelkeep may send product updates, feature announcements, offers, surveys, devotional news, launch information, and related communications.

You may unsubscribe using the mechanism included in a promotional email or by contacting support@gospelkeep.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent Gospelkeep from sending necessary account, purchase, security, privacy, or legal messages.

Gospelkeep does not make consent to promotional email a condition of keeping private prayers on your device unless a specific lawful product feature clearly requires an email communication.

Gospelkeep may promote Gospelkeep through third-party advertising and marketing platforms.

Advertising platforms may apply their own terms and privacy practices when you interact with an advertisement. Gospelkeep's use of advertising does not authorize Gospelkeep to send private prayer text, Keep content, private Keep searches, or local tradition selection to advertising platforms for targeted advertising.

If Gospelkeep uses advertising measurement or tracking technologies, it will do so subject to applicable consent, opt-out, and platform requirements.

We may suspend or restrict access to online Gospelkeep services where reasonably necessary to address security threats, abuse, legal requirements, fraud, or serious violations of these Terms.

Where practical and lawful, we will act proportionately.

You may stop using Gospelkeep at any time and may use the in-app deletion process for an eligible Gospelkeep account.

Gospelkeep will evolve. We may modify or discontinue features, change public content, update product tiers, or change technical providers.

If a change materially affects legal rights, privacy practices, or an existing paid entitlement, we will provide notice where required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gospelkeep is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content delivery, or that every feature will always be available.

We do not exclude guarantees, warranties, statutory rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gospelkeep will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of Gospelkeep where such exclusion is legally permitted.

Any limitation in these Terms is subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without limiting any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.

To the extent legally permitted, courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales, Australia will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will show a revised effective date. Where required, we will give additional notice of material changes.
